The best way to reuse computers is always through existing personal connections. Do you or your friends know a school, church, or community center that might need help?

For Macintoshes or other older computer equipment, here are some other organizations that may accept your donation:

Our refurbishing program provides residents of Castle Square Apartments, and the surrounding community with free refurbished computers. We are looking for P4 PCs and better, with at least 256 MB RAM and 10+ GB Hard drives. We can't accept CRT monitors at the moment.

NOTE: Computers, and especially monitors, should not be put in regular trash, because they poison the environment. In fact, in Massachusetts it is illegal to do so. If you are an individual, you should contact your town for help in making arrangements for proper disposal. If you are a business, there are companies to process the material properly, for example:
